Cleaning and
filling of blacktop or Portland concrete pavement cracks and
joints. Hot-applied products are federally specified and approved
and are made of high quality, rubberized materials. The sealant in
the crack forms a resilient and adhesive compound that will seal
cracks and joints from the infiltration of damaging water. Use of
the correct material prevents tracking by shoes or vehicles and
lasts longer because it flexes with changing weather conditions.
Preparation of the cracks may include dirt and vegetation removal,
compressed air cleaning, heat lancing to dry the crack or routing
of the crack by machine.
